Mr. Simon died Friday, Nov. 21, in a Temple hospital.
He was born Dec. 24, 1938, to Truitt H. Simon and Frankie Sconce Simon in Lampasas. He married Minona Lane Cizmar. He was a retired peace officer, having worked for Williamson County for many years. He served in the U.S. Air Force. He was a member of the Methodist Church and the Masonic Lodge.
Survivors include his wife of Round Rock; a daughter, Nicholli Francisco of Green Cove Springs, Fla.; and six grandchildren.
