Burial will follow in Mt. Zion Garden of Memories in Temple.
Mrs. Franklin died Wednesday, Nov. 19, in a Temple hospital.
She was born Aug. 7, 1932, to Robert and Fredonia Vaughn Carson in Kenney. She attended public schools in Bellville. She was an active member of Bethel I.M. Church in Temple. She retired from the Holiday Inn after many years of service. She was preceded in death by her husband; a son; and a grandson.
Survivors include three brothers, Robert Carson of Temple, Eddie Hubbard of Missouri City and Thomas Carson of Houston; and two grandchildren.
Public viewing will be today from noon to 6 p.m. with visitation 5-6 p.m. at Hornsby-Murcherson Funeral Home in Temple.
