Graveside services for Nella V. Ward, 93, of Richmond, formerly of Temple will be 11 a.m. Saturday in Wilson Valley Cemetery near Academy with the Rev. Roy Parker officiating.

Mrs. Ward died Wednesday, Nov. 26, at a Sugarland hospital.

She was born Aug. 23, 1915, to Wayne Hargrove and Maude Earnhardt Hargrove in Oenaville. She married Thomas Fisher Ward on Feb. 12, 1938. She lived in Temple until 1982. She had worked for McClellans Department Store and Vera Lee Dress Shop. She was a Baptist. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1954.

Survivors include a daughter, Ann Ward of Richmond; a sister, Mozelle Spell of Baytown; three grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. today at Scanio-Harper Funeral Home in Temple.
