Graveside services will follow at 3:30 p.m. Monday in Restland Cemetery in Dallas.
Mr. Whitson died Monday, Nov. 24, at his home.
He was born Nov. 24, 1927, to Reuben F. and Alice M. Hester Whitson in Amarillo. He served as a Sergeant in the U.S. Army Air Force. He worked as an electrical engineer and at Collins Radio in Garland for several years. He married Betty Kegley Davenport on Feb. 12, 2006. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Temple. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Dorothy Mildred Whitson.
Survivors include his wife of Temple.

Visitation will be 3-5 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
