Burial will be in the Central Texas Veterans Cemetary in Killeen at 2 p.m.
Mr. Frey died Tuesday, Nov. 25, in Junction City, Kan.
He was born in Penticton, British Columbia, Canada, to Frank and Anne Frey. He retired from the U.S. Army in 1987. Before becoming a naturalized citizen, Mr. Frey also served as a member of the Royal Canadian Air Force. After his retirement, he served at the Fort Hood Outdoor Recreation Center. He was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars and was a lifetime member of the American Legion. He married Helga Kugler on April 22, 1971, in Vilsek, Germany. He was preceded in death by his wife.
Survivors include a daughter, Andrea Guilday of Junction City, Kan.; two brothers, Marvin Frey of Calgary, British Columbia, and Brian Frey of Weyburn, Saskatchewan, Canada; and two grandchildren.
Memorials may be sent to the Copperas Cove chapter of the American Legion.
