Mr. Wisdom died Thursday, Nov. 20, at Scott & White Memorial Hospital in Temple.
He was born June 3, 1935, in Lockesburg, Ark., and attended public schools in Oklahoma and graduated from high school in Okinawa, Japan. Following six years of service in the U.S. Army, he began a 30-year career with U.S. Army Missile Command at Redstone Arsenal in Alabama. His assignments worldwide included Fort Sill, Okla., and Fort Hood. He was preceded in death by a grandchild.
He is survived by three daughters, Vickie Myers of Scottsdale, Ariz., Wendy Allen of Lawton, Okla., and Deanise Riley of Belton; two sisters, Betty Byrd of Virginia and Sherry Tomlinson of Colorado; three grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Scanio-Harper Funeral Home in Temple is in charge of arrangements.
