Mrs. Pitts died Tuesday, Nov. 4, at her home.
She was born Oct. 28, 1928, to William C. Begley and Margaret Elizabeth Jesse Begley in Coleman. She married Robert L. Pitts on Jan. 16, 1947, in Coleman. They moved to Lampasas in 1957. She was a manager of a local sewing factory in Lampasas and was a homemaker. She was a Baptist.
Survivors include her husband of 61 years of Lampasas; three sons, Bob Pitts and Mike Pitts, both of Lampasas and Bill Pitts of Dripping Springs; a daughter, Debbie Pitts Aiwase of Houston; nine grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to the Lampasas Public Library.
Visitation will be 9-10 a.m. today at Sneed Funeral Chapel in Lampasas.
