Cremation arrangements are being handled by Crawford-Bowers Funeral Home in Temple.
He was born June 1, 1946, in Kentucky to John and Louise Pitcock. He joined the U.S. Army on Nov. 18, 1965, and was honorably discharged on Sept. 6, 1967. He was a long-haul truck driver most of his life. He was a member of the VFW.
Survivors include two sons, Michael Pitcock and Shawn Pitcock, both of Lorain, Ohio; three sisters, Betty Frames of Wellington, Ohio, Becky Meizel of Vermilion, Ohio and Marie Pitcock of Florida.
