Mrs. Busby died Monday, Dec. 1, in a Temple hospital.
She was born Jan. 7, 1936, in Milam County to Wade Brummett and Jewel Plant Brummett. She married Hubert Busby Sr. on Aug. 1, 1955. He preceded her in death on April 3, 1988. She worked for American Desk for 19 years, retiring in 1993.
Survivors include six sons, Hubert Busby Jr. of Green Bay. Wis., Wade Busby of Eddy, James Busby, Fred Busby, Jack Busby, and Gene Busby, all of Holland; three daughters, Audrey Miller of Texas City, Vanessa Darlene Johnson of Holland and Karen Black of Belton; a brother, Ralph Brummett of Springfield, Mo.; 14 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.
Visitation is 4 to 6 p.m. today at Crawford-Bowers Funeral Home in Temple.
