Burial will follow in Bellwood Memorial Park.
Ms. Smith died Monday, Dec. 1, at her home.
She was born Nov. 1, 1924, in Houston to Virgil Daniel and Valentine Day Smith. She worked as a bookkeeper in the dietary department at Scott & White Memorial Hospital, where she retired after 42 years of service. She was a member of the First Christian Church of Temple and the Business Women’s Association.
Survivors include her nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
