Mr. Edds died Monday, Dec. 1, at his home.
He was born Dec. 23, 1941, to George T. and Lorene Keith Edds in Weatherford. He moved to Belton in 2003. He worked as a chef in Waco. He was a member of the Baptist Church.
Survivors include two sisters, Pamela Edds West of Mount Pleasant, N.C. and Cynthia Edds Dumont of Rosewell, Ga.
