Burial will follow in Temple Mount Zion Garden of Memories.
Ms. Huffman died on Tuesday, Dec. 2, at her home.
She was born to Lester and Georgia Mae Busby Huffman in Temple. She graduated from Temple High School and attended the University of Mary Hardin Baylor in Belton and Texas Women’s University in Denton.
She was employed at various companies such as Southland Corporation, C & H Dye Casting, 7-11, and many years at Wilson Art. She was a lifelong active member of Wayman Chapel A.M.E. Church and of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority. She served as past president of the Northwest Texas Missionary Society; past president of E.C.B. LaQuay Missionary Society Choir; former member of the Steward Board; the Finance Committee; the Baseball Association; and former Custodian.
Survivors include a brother, Kevin Woods of Cedar Hill; and a sister, Saundra Ann Huffman of Temple.
Viewing will be 2-6 p.m. Friday at Branford/Dawson Funeral Home in Temple.
