Mrs. Johnson died Sunday, Dec. 7, at her home.
She was born Sept. 6, 1924, to Ed and Tillie Bunte Kelly in Holland. She was a life-long resident and attended school in Holland. She worked at American Desk of Temple for 16 years and at Southern Manor in Temple for seven years. She was a member of St. Paul’s United Methodist Church in Temple. She was preceded in death by her first husband, R.J. Hicks in 1962, her second husband, Johnny Johnson in 1992, and her daughter, Cherry Lane in 2004.
Survivors include a son, Riley Hicks of Waco; 10 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. today at Crawford-Bowers Funeral Home in Temple.
