Services will be 2 p.m. Sunday at Cook-Gerngross-Green-Patterson Funeral Home in Rosebud with the Rev. Jim Wheeless officiating.
Burial will follow in Powers Chapel Cemetery near Rosebud.
Mr. Heugatter was born July 21, 1932, to Adolph and Margaret Hill Heugatter in Clarkson. He married Bernice Rothe on Dec. 21, 1957. He served in the U.S. Army and worked as a foreman for the Circle Saw Shop in Houston. He lived in Rosebud and Houston most of his life. He was a member of the Cameron VFW Post No. 2010.
Survivors include his wife of 50 years of Rosebud; and a sister, Margaret Campbell of Humble.
Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association or to the Christian Fellowship Church in Ben Arnold.
Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. today at the funeral home.
