Mrs. Bieri died Friday, Dec. 12, at a Georgetown nursing home.
She was born on June 13, 1922, to Claude and Jewel Taylor in Clovis, N.M. She married Chris Bieri on June 3, 1939, in Las Cruces, N.M. They lived in Broadview, N.M., many years. She worked as a secretary for the Holiday Inn in Lubbock and later at Shannon Hospital in San Angelo. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Temple and the Joy Singers. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1992.
Survivors include a son, Ron Bieri of Clayton, Ga.; a daughter, Sandra Brannon of Temple; three sisters, Lillian Chernock of Sayville, N.Y., Helen Swisher of Marquette, Kan., and Jo Davis of Georgetown, Ky.; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
