Burial will be in Marlow Cemetery near Cameron.
Mrs. Pate died Saturday, Dec. 13, in a Cameron hospital.
She was born March 19, 1938, in Tulsa, Okla. She married James Pate. She retired as a secretary and was a member of Marlow Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband on June 6, 1998.
Survivors include a son, James Pate of Cameron; a daughter, Linda Pate of Houston; a sister, Mildred Covington of Houston; and a grandchild.
Marek-Burns-Laywell Funeral Home of Cameron is in charge of arrangements.
