McGREGOR — Services for Truman Ray “Bud” Hargrove, 73, of Eddy will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at Bruceville Community Church with the Rev. Butch Hargrove and the Rev. Lee Casey officiating.

Burial will follow in Eddy Cemetery.

Mr. Hargrove died Saturday, Dec.13.

He was born Aug. 10, 1935, to the late Guy and Inez Wilcox Hargrove in Eddy. He attended Bruceville-Eddy schools. On July 10, 1954, he married Barbara Jean Doughty in Waco. He worked for Lone Star Gas Company for 42 years, retiring in 1992.

Survivors include his wife of 54 years of Eddy; a son, Truman “Butch” Hargrove of Eddy; a daughter, Teri Giddens of Hewitt; three sisters, Dean Gan of Eddy, Mary Bohon of Waco and Marsha Lozano of Bruceville; and two grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to Bruceville Community Church Building Fund, 581 Old Moody Road, Eddy, 76542.

Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. today at Cole Funeral Home in McGregor.
