Cara Lois Allison

BELTON — Services for Cara Lois Cooksey Allison, 90, of Holland will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at First Baptist Church in Holland with the Rev. Jay Thomas officiating.

Burial will follow in Wilson Valley Cemetery.

Mrs. Allison died Saturday, Dec. 13, at a Temple hospital.

She was born July 16, 1918, to John Daniel and Lillie Malicoat Cooksey in Rogers. She married Morris Roland Allison on Aug. 20, 1936, in Temple. She was a homemaker and active with the Holland Senior Citizens. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Holland. She was preceded in death by her husband.

Survivors include two daughters, Carolyn Owens of Little River-Academy and Sue May of Kearney, Neb.; five grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to the Allison-Owens Endowed Scholarship at the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor, Attention: Beverly Adams, Belton, 76513.

Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. today at Heartfield Funeral Home in Belton.
