Services will be 2 p.m. today at Dossman Funeral Home of Belton with the Rev. Tom Chamberlain and the Rev. Mike Swink officiating.
Burial will follow in Lawler Cemetery near Florence.
Mr. Kallus was born Aug. 10, 1936, to I.J. Kallus and Mary Huff Kallus in Holland. He married Tempie Stiles on June 19, 1960, at the Catholic church in Granger. He worked for 25 years at Griggs Equipment and later retired from Artco-Bell. He served as assistant fire chief, fire marshal and as a city councilman, all in Holland. He was a member of the Catholic church.
Survivors include his wife of 48 years of Holland; two sons, Dan Kallus of Zabcikville and Johnny Kallus of Holland; a daughter, Tempie Labaj of Granger; a brother, Ted Kallus of Georgetown; a sister, Mary Jacobson of Round Rock; six grandchildren; and a great-grandson.
