Services will be 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at Dossman Funeral Home of Belton with minister Joe Baisden officiating.
Mrs. Mize was born in Sept 1936, to Finis and Ila Brooks in Mooreville, Miss. She married Leslie L. Mize Jr. in 1955 in Tupelo, Miss. She owned Shirley’s Custom Shop in Temple in the late 1970s, then managed the Village Dress Boutique in Salado and later partnered with her husband for L&S Service Company. She was a member of Belton Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1999.
Survivors include three daughters, Debra Hughling of Belton, Terri Mize of Rising Star and Jennifer Kasner of Temple; a brother; three sisters; seven grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.

Visitation will be 5:30-6:30 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
