Burial will follow in Temple Garden of Memories Cemetery.
Mr. Shores died Friday, Dec. 19, at his home.
He was born May 7, 1945, to Robert Lee Shores II and Poshia Shores in Temple. He attended Dunbar High School. He married Rosa Bean Shores on Aug. 1, 2001. He owned and operated a Pest Control Company, before retiring. He was a member of A New Day Fellowship Church in Temple. He was preceded in death by his wife and a son, Darwin D. Harden.
Survivors include three sons, Roderick Shores, Paul Shores and Cedric Shores, all of Fort Worth; a daughter, Tracy Shores of Fort Worth; two brothers, Raymond Lee Shores and Otis Shores, both of Fort Worth; three sisters, Lillie R. Shores of Ponder, Bertha Lewis of Austin and Ester Wilson of Akron, Ohio; and nine grandchildren.
Visitation will be 2-7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home, with a wake from 7-8 p.m.
