Burial will follow in Rosemound Cemetery.
Mrs. Boone died Tuesday, Dec. 23, at her home.
She was born Dec. 20, 1920, to Jasper Porter and Ruby Jean Bullard Stevenson in Mineral Wells. She married William C. Boone on Jan. 26, 1940, in Mineral Wells. She worked as a bookkeeper and was a former employee of the Waco V.A. Hospital, the Bellmead First Baptist Church and retired from the LaVega School District. She was a member of Bellmead Eastern Star No. 980 for 50 years, a former charter member of Bellmead First Baptist church, a member of the Brazos Valley Chapter of the American Women, the Texas Home Extension AFTC; was on the board of directors at Rosemound Cemetery and was a member of Meadow Oaks Baptist Church in Temple.
Survivors include her husband of 68 years of Temple; a son, Bruce Elvis Boone of Temple; a daughter, Beth Elaine Shane of Temple; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
