Kaylor B. Merideth

LAMPASAS — Services for Kaylor Bernard Merideth, 86, of Lampasas will be held at a later date.

The body will be cremated.

Mr. Merideth died Sunday, Dec. 21, at his home.

He was born Jan. 11, 1922, to James Calvin Merideth and Metta Bell Hyndes Merideth in Jonesboro, Ark. He married Betty Jean Capooth. He was a mechanic by trade and also a parts manager in the auto industry. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He was preceded in death by his wife in 1991.

Survivors include four sons, David Merideth, John Merideth and Robert Merideth, all of Nevada and Fred Merideth of Florida; a daughter, Maria Henderson of Lampasas; 12 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

Sneed Funeral Chapel in Lampasas is in charge of arrangements.
