Graveside services for Quillion S. “Red” Cummings, 83, of Temple will be 2 p.m. Monday in Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Killeen with military honors, the Rev. Roy Parker officiating.

Mr. Cummings died Monday, Dec. 22, at a local hospital.

He was born Jan. 15, 1925, to George Moses and Ethel Amanda Selman Cummings in Alto. He was raised and educated in Grange Hall and Alto. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II.

Survivors include a sister, Erma Adams of Nacogdoches.

Scanio-Harper Funeral Home in Temple is in charge of arrangements.
