Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery in Rosebud.
Mr. Camero died Sunday, Dec. 28, in a Temple hospital.
He was born April 17, 1935, in Rosebud to Silberio and Jesusa DeLeon Camero. He was raised in Rosebud and farmed and ranched in the Durango area since 1956. He married Micaela Diaz and she preceded him in death.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Mary D. Camero.
Survivors include three sons, Elias Camero of Chilton, Henry Camero of Durango, and Winfrey Garrett of Waco; two daughters, Christina Chandler and Tammie Nichols, both of Chilton; three sisters, Georgia Resendez and Tony Zuniga, both of Durango, and Nina Rodriguez of Rosebud; Six grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
A Rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Friday at Cook-Gerngross-Green-Patterson Funeral Home in Rosebud.
