Burial will be in St. John Lutheran Cemetery.
Mr. Steglich died Monday, Dec. 29, at his residence.
He was born Jan. 2, 1920, in Rosenberg to Adolph and Flora Patterson Steglich. He was owner and operator of Feed and Fertilizer store in Bartlett for 40 plus years. He married Patricia June Vose June 8, 1947, and she preceded him in death. He was a member of St. John Lutheran Church, a veteran of World War II serving in the U.S. Army Air Corps and U.S.A.F. He was active in the Bartlett Chamber of Commerce, City Counsel, Bartlett I.S.D. School board, Co-Founder of the Will-O-Bell Nursing Home.
Survivors include three daughters, Nancy Ruemke of Arlington, Jill Thaler of Belton, and Rise Steglich of Austin; a son, Timothy Steglich of Bartlett; two sisters, Agnes Walseth of Georgetown and Joyce McKinney of Salado; a brother, Lenwood Steglich of Dallas; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Bartlett Fire Department.
Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Thursday at Goodnight Funeral Home in Bartlett.
