The body will be cremated.
Mrs. Wright died Friday, Jan. 2, at her home.
She was born on Sept. 30, 1929, to the late Albert B. and Annie Noack Miertschin in Giddings. She married Mack Wright. She worked as a registered staff nurse at Scott & White Memorial Hospital for more than 45 years.
Survivors include her husband of 49 years of Temple; a daughter, Diane W. Fye of Morgan’s Point Resort; a brother, M.A. Miertschin of Stephenville; and a grandson.
Heartfield Funeral Home in Belton is in charge of arrangements.
