Burial will be in Dyess Grove Cemetery in Strington.
Mr. Daniel died Thursday, Jan. 8, at his home.
He was born on Dec. 24, 1918, to Hebert and Nettie Casey Daniel in Marlin. He graduated from Marlin schools. He married Annie Pearl Reddoch on April 5, 1942. He joined the U.S. Navy in 1942 and served in the Philippines. He worked in civil service at Fort Hood as a heating mechanic, retiring in 1982. He was a member of the Dyess Grove Baptist Church, where he served as a deacon.
Survivors include his wife of Temple; a son, Robert Charles Daniel of Tulsa, Okla.; a daughter, Kathy Ann Laminack of Harker Heights; three brothers, Garland Daniel of Marlin, Grady Daniel of Bowling Green, Fla., and Billy Daniel of Monterey, Calif.; three sisters, Jeanette Gistinger of Marlin, Mary Alice Woods of Calvert and Dorothy Turnipseed of Axtell; and three grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Dyess Grove Baptist Church, 10771 Stringtown Road, Temple, 76501 or to the Alzheimer’s Foundation.
