Vincent Crepeau scored on a Christian Bass assist to give the Tigers (7-1-0) a 1-0 lead in the eighth minute. Josh Caffey scored on a Dylan Parr assist in the 19th minute and on a Crepeau assist in the 23rd minute to give Belton a 3-0 lead.
McNeil scored two goals in the second half before the Tigers stopped the rally.
“We played well early,” Belton coach Tarcisio Mosnia said. “Then the wind was against us and psychologically it affected our players. We let up in the second half.”
The Tigers face Beaumont Ozen at 11:30 a.m. today, then Carrollton Creekview at 4:30 p.m.
