Belton softball star Bozon signs to play at St. Edward's

Belton senior softball player Brianna Bozon signed a letter of intent Friday to attend St. Edward’s University in Austin and play for the NCAA Division II Hilltoppers beginning this fall. Bozon, a third baseman and a four-year letterman, is batting .365 with 25 runs batted in and 13 doubles for the Lady Tigers, who are leading District 12-5A. Bozon was a first-team all-state player in 2007 and hit .458 as a junior. This season St. Edward’s is 33-18 overall and 19-3 in conference. (Clint Bittenbinder/Telegram)
