Troy’s Luke Randolph and Stephanie Rauch qualified in the discus and Bruceville-Eddy’s Greg Bostick was second in the 800-meters and teammate Tye Doty was runner-up in the 1,600.
Rauch qualified for state in the discus for the second straight year, winning with a toss of 118 feet, 4 inches, besting the field by more than 7 feet. Randolph won with a throw of 152-04.
Bostick, who had the fifth fastest time after the 800 preliminaries, finished second in 2 minutes, 0.63 seconds. Doty, a third-place finisher at the 2A state cross country meet, was second in the 1,600 in 4:32.14.
