Salado's O'Rear qualifies at Wildflower for Texas Amateur Championship

Salado’s Ryan O’Rear shot an even-par 72 Wednesday at Wildflower Country Club to secure the site’s final qualifying spot for the Texas Amateur Championship.

O’Rear, who is headed to Baylor in the fall, finished behind only Texas freshman Brett Spencer (69) and Texas A&M freshman Jordan Russell 71 in the 18-player field.

The state amateur will be played June 25-28 at Miramont Country Club in Bryan.

Front Street, Holland, Bell County, Texas. (4) All that certain tract of land out of and a part of HOLLAND ORIGINAL, BLOCK 005, LOT 0001, Geo #0307220000, of the Bell County Property Records, Belton, Texas, commonly known as 301 Crockett Street, Holland, Bell County, Texas.
