Burial with full military honors will follow in Killeen Memorial Park Cemetery.
Mr. Cotto died Monday, June 8, at his home.
He was born on Sept. 28, 1940, to Sabino Cotto and Pura Almenas Cotto in Caguas, Puerto Rico. He was in the U.S. Army and served two tours of duty in Vietnam, retiring in 1986 after more than 24 years. He was of the Catholic Faith. He was a member of the St Joseph Spanish Choir for 23 years as well as the Catholic Society and the Sacred Heart Society.
Survivors include his wife of 40 years, Margarita Cotto of Killeen; two sons, Michael Cotto and Vincent Cotto, both of Houston; a brother, Clotilde Cotto; three sisters EladiaCotto, Asuncion Cotto and Antonia Cotto, all of Caguas, Puerto Rico; and a grandson.
Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Friday at Crawford-Bowers Funeral Home in Killeen, with a rosary being recited at 7 p.m.
