Ms. Devine died Saturday, June 6.
She was born to Maj. Thomas and Minnie Griffin Ford. She moved to Grand Prairie 25 years ago from Forest Grove. She taught school in Cameron and Grand Prairie. She was a member of First Christian Church in Grand Prairie, where she was an elder and a Sunday schoolteacher.
Survivors include two sons, Thomas D. Currey of Grand Prairie and Larry E. Currey of Willis; five grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
Phillips & Luckey Funeral Home in Rockdale is in charge of arrangements.
