Burial will follow in Restland Cemetery.
Mrs. Baize died Friday, June 5, in a local nursing home.
She was born on Oct. 13, 1913, to the late Benton Edgar and Gracie Brown Holt in The Grove. She married Clebe Baize in 1931. She lived in the Slater community until 1941, then moving to White Hall and Coryell City area. She worked with her husband as a farmer and rancher and volunteered at the Gatesville Care Center. She was a member of Cedar Ridge Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years in 1983.
Survivors include three sons, Burney Baize of Coryell City, Donald Baize of Crawford and John Baize of Falls Church, Va.; a daughter, Patty Clemons of Coryell City; six grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to a charity of your choice or to Cedar Ridge Church of Christ, 104 Cedar Ridge Road, Gatesville, 76528.
Visitation will be 4-6 p.m. today at the funeral home.
