Burial will be 4 p.m. in Bourland Cemetery in Keller.
Mr. Ward died Monday, June 15, in a Keller nursing home.
He was born Sept. 18, 1962, in Grapevine to Gaylon and Gladella Ward. He attended school in Keller. In 1980 he was an All State tight end for the Keller Indians football team. He was recruited by the Baylor Bears where he played tight end from 1981-1986. He received a bachelor’s degree in business administration in 1986. He moved to Salado in 1996. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Salado.
Survivors include three children, Garret, Hunter and Meredith, all of Salado and their mother, Regina; and a sister, Connie Miller of Haltom City.
