Gatesville softball standouts Megan Chartier and Emily Leib were named to the Texas Girls Coaches Association Class 3A All-State Team.

Chartier, a senior for the Lady Hornets who advanced to their first-ever state tournament, led the area with 55 stolen bases and was second with 44 runs scored, along with a .452 batting average.

Leib, a junior pitcher, led the area with 23 wins, had a 0.89 earned-run average and struck out 267 batters.
