Ramonce Taylor, the Belton High School career rushing leader, was one of 12 players released Friday by the CFL’s Winnipeg Blue Bombers.

Taylor, who played for Texas from 2004-05, returned a kickoff for a touchdown during the Blue Bombers’ final scrimmage. He had returns totaling 96 yards to go with two receptions for 30 yards in Winnipeg’s preseason opener on Wednesday.
