Mr. Surovik died Friday, June 26, at his residence.
He was born May 6, 1946, in Bell County to John George and Elnora Vanicek Surovik. A lifelong resident of East Bell County, he attended Lost Prairie School and graduated from Rogers High School in 1964. He was a member of SPJST Lodge No. 47, Seaton. He farmed in the community for many years and was employed by Farm Equipment Services of Temple as a mechanic.
Survivors include numerous cousins.
