BELTON — Services for Herman Frank Schmidt, 91, of Belton will be 10 a.m. Friday at Heartfield Funeral Home in Belton with the Rev. Billy Johnson officiating.

Burial will follow in North Belton Cemetery.

Mr. Schmidt died Monday, June 29, in a local hospital.

He was born on Oct. 10, 1917, to the late Adolph and Lena Etzel Schmidt in Cyclone. He married Mary Karl on Aug. 18, 1945, in Belton.

Survivors include his wife of 63 years of Belton; two daughters, Marilyn Turner of Belton and Connie Lenz of Arlington; seven grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to Miller Heights Baptist Church Building Fund, 1400 S. Wall St., Belton, 76513.

Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
