The officer received a gunshot wound in the arm that is not considered a life-threatening injury. Officers returned fire, hitting two suspects.

All three gunshot victims were taken to Scott & White.

The Temple Police Department SWAT team was serving a high-risk narcotics search warrant at the Creekside Apartments, 3550 SW H.K. Dodgen Loop.
