Burial will follow in North Belton Cemetery.
Mrs. Allen died Wednesday, April 15, in a Belton nursing home.
She was born on Oct. 26, 1919, to B.I. and Katie Strickland Beasley in Bell County. She married Lloyd Allen on May 7, 1947, in Bertram. She worked as the purchasing contracting officer at Fort Hood for 33 years, retiring in 1985. She was a member of the Presbyterian Church in Belton for more than 35 years. She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years on Oct. 30, 2007, and a grandson.
Survivors include a son, David Allen of Elgin; two daughters, Mary Allen of Belton and Barbara Lara of Albuquerque, N.M.; 13 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
