Daniel Mungia points to one of his children’s pieces of artwork on display during the opening Monday night of the 13th annual ArtWorks Exhibition at the Azalee Marshall Cultural Activities Center in Temple.

The exhibit is a celebration of children’s art from all over Central Texas, with more than 3,000 pieces on display. It includes artwork created by area students in pre-K through 12th grade, and from public, private and home school groups.

This year’s exhibit will be on display through May 15.
