Burial will be in Saratoga Springs, N.Y.
Mr. Boucher died Monday, June 29, at his home.
He was born to April 1, 1957, to Richard Boucher Sr. and Harriett Clute in Saratoga Springs, N.Y. He attended school in New York and graduated from Central Texas College. He served in the U.S. Army, 1977-1983, in motor transport and later in ground surveillance radar. His decorations include the Army Commendation medal; the Good Conduct medal; the Army Service Ribbon; the Overseas Service Ribbon and the Purple Heart. He settled in Harker Heights. He worked for the Texas Department of Criminal Justice, retiring as a sergeant. He then went into the trucking industry. He was preceded in death by a son, Shane Boucher.
Survivors include his wife of 23 years, Anita Boucher of Killeen; two sons, Shane Paul Boucher Jr. of Nolanville and Lance Boucher of Harker Heights; a daughter, Angel Boucher of Harker Heights; a brother, Timothy Boucher of Ballston Spa, N.Y.; two sisters, Paula Riley and Diane Ackley, both of Ballston Spa, N.Y.; and two grandchildren.
