Services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at Marek-Burns-Laywell Funeral Home of Cameron with the Rev. Johnny Kueker officiating.
Burial will follow in Hope Lutheran Memorial Park.
Mrs. Svetlik was born on July 14, 1924, to Ben and Berniece Pressley Kraats in Milam County. She married Steve Svetlik on March 24, 1941. She had worked at the Svetlik Grocery Store in Buckholts and Hills Steak House. She was preceded in death by her husband of 33 years; a son, Steve Frank Svetlik and an infant son.
Survivors include a son, John Svetlik of Temple; five daughters, Mary Chudej and Opal Randall, both of Buckholts, Doris Glass of Cameron, Rosie Gusner of Troy and Gladys Schmidt of Rockdale; two brothers, Charles Kraatz of Apple Valley, Calif., and Franklin Kraatz of Irving; six sisters, Florene Fikes and Lovene Wicker, both of Rockdale, Lucille McCrummen of Commerce, Doris Kerbow of Dennison, Rose Taylor of Bridgeport and Mary Alice Scott of Houston; 15 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. `
