KILLEEN — Memorial services for Elliston Joseph Brown, 90, of Killeen will be 3 p.m. Friday at Crawford-Bowers Funeral Home Chapel in Killeen with the Rev. Jack T. Riley officiating.

Mr. Brown died Sunday, July 5, in Temple.

He was born April 5, 1919, in Jamaica. He grew up in Jamaica where he served as a corporal in the Jamaican Army and worked as a carpenter. He married Hazel Eileen Lyon in 1968 in Jamaica. They moved to Bronx, N.Y., on April 19, 1979, where he worked as a security guard.

Survivors include his wife of 41 years, Hazel Brown of Killeen; four sons, Basil Brown of Jamaica, Richard Oakley of Florida, Glendon Junior Oakley of Killeen and Derrick Brown of New York; two daughters, Jean Brown of Florida and Darian Brown of New York; eight grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
