The body will be cremated.
Mrs. Jordan died Monday, July 6, in a local hospital.
She was born on Feb. 18, 1926, to Walter C. and Lendie Reid Mayes in Bell County. She married J.D. Jordan on May 20, 1945, in Temple and was a homemaker. She attended Calvary Baptist Church in Temple. She was preceded in death by her husband of 36 years on Aug. 18, 1981.
Survivors include a son, Mark Jordan of Temple.
