Services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday at First United Methodist Church in Cameron with the Rev. Tom Kennedy and the Rev. Gary Bagley officiating.
Burial will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery.
Mrs. Thomas was born on Oct. 2, 1919, to Frank and Martha Monroe in Cameron. She was a graduate of C.H. Yoe High School in Cameron and Baylor University. She married Hilliard “Rush” Thomas in 1947. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church, where she played the organ for more than 60 years. She was a founding member of the Central Texas Hospital Auxiliary and member of the Three Arts Club. She was preceded in death by her husband of 24 years.
Survivors include a daughter, Marion Cooley of Cameron; and a grandson.
Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Friday at Marek-Burns-Laywell Funeral Home of Cameron.
