Entrepreneurial mothers will begin support group at CAC

TEMPLE - The co-founder of a support group called Like Minded Moms in Columbus, Ohio, will begin a group at the Cultural Activities Center in Temple. Its debut meeting will begin at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday and last for no more than two hours.

Like Minded Moms is designed to give mothers who own their businesses a chance to network, without the hassle of finding childcare. While the group benefits women in all stages of life, on-site childcare is provided for those with young children.

Danabeth Suber of Busy Solution, LLC, will speak at Tuesday’s meeting about organizing businesses for success.

Temple native Renee Belbeck and Christine Kinney formed Like Minded Moms.

“Originally, we planned on having the meetings at my home but realized very quickly that was not going to work after we received 75 RSVPs from the first invitation alone,” Ms. Belbeck said. She said the club has grown quickly and groups have been added across Ohio and, now, across the country.

The mission of Like Minded Moms is to provide support and education that encourages the promotion of their businesses with the intention of enriching the lives of mothers who are focused on success for their families and their businesses. Membership in the group offers business referrals, one-on-one coaching sessions with an “expert” Mom/Coach, quarterly family and parent events, parenting resources, and an hour of administrative consulting and other opportunities.

The CAC is at 3011 N. Third Street.
