FORT HOOD - Due to bad weather forecasts for today, Fort Hood officials

have postponed the Phantom Thunder III motorcycle safety ride from the post to Lake Belton until further notice, according to a press release from the Fort Hood public affairs office.

The potential for bad weather has also forced officials to move the Family

Fun Fest from Fort Hood's recreation area at Lake Belton to the Abrams Field House on post.

The fest still begins at 3 p.m. this afternoon and will feature country

music star Darryl Worley. The event is free. All soldiers, civilians and

family members are invited to join in the fun.
